- I put the new egr valve but the fault code still shows on the coimputer and the engine management light is on?
Description
its a new egr valve but the fault code keeps coming on as valve open, and cant reset the computer?

Hello, thanks for your Question in the autoaid Community. Your described fault Code means: EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION MIXED FLAP CONTROL . CIRCUIT / GROUND FINAL / SHORT TO BATTERY
Use the wirings diagram and check the wirings from the egr valve, Check it also to ground and to the battery.
This fault means like a shortcut in the wirings.
