symptoms
- heat works on left side but on right is cold air

Hello , thanks for your question in the autoaid Community.
Your described fault Code means: M16/23 (ACTUATOR FOR CHOKE, MEDIUM NOZZLE LEFT) OF THE LIN BUS COMMUNICATION ERROR
Would you have cold air at the left side or heating on the right side?
Because, this fault code means the actuator on the middle left side.
No communication could be a faulty wire to this actuator, but i have never these problem.
In the most times the actuator is faulty. This should you check at the first time.
So build off the Panel in the footwell and look at the heater box, there must be the actuator.
Check the wires and the plug from this, plug off and plug again, for eventually wrong or faulty connection.
If you have a correct wiring diagram, then you measure the wires from the climate control unit to the actuator.
When there is already okay, then you should renew this part.
