Hello , thanks for your question in the autoaid Community.
Your described fault Code means: EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR), FUNCTION ERROR
It gives two modes:
pneumatic exhaust gas regulation valve
The exhaust gas regulation valve receive vacuum pressure from solenoid valve.
The strength of the vacuum pressure control a membrane to open the valve.
electromagnetic exhaust gas regulation valve
Pulse duty factor control the valve.
The length of the pulse duty factor control a magnetic coil to open the valve.
So, thats the theory for any ground knowing..
Your fault likes a blocked EGR Valve, or the control to this Valve is faulty.
Check the Valve and if you have a vacuum pressure Valve, look for the hoses, they could be ripped or have a bite on it.
If you have a vaccum pump, the remove the valve and use the pump to check if the valve is still working.
If this doesn´t work, then you have to renew the EGR Valve.
