Your described fault Code means: P2187 System too lean at idle, bank 1(fault location); Fuel pressure, injectors, intake leak(Probable cause).
Its a very common problem on the 2.5T - it will be a blocked crankcase breather.
You have to buy a new crankcase breather. It is a revised part that you will receive and it hopefully stops the problem from recurring again in the future.
