Hello WaltSM, thanks for your question in the autoaid community.
Your described fault Code means: C1306 ABS - zero setting of the steering angle sensor not found
But this Code brings not an engine stutter..
This faulty cames from a fault Setting of the steering angle sensor.
You can disconnect and after 15 minutes connect the battery, for a "Hard-Reset".
After this you have to start the engine and draw to the left side to Maximum, hold there for a Moment.
Then draw to the right side to Maximum, hold there for a Moment.
At least you draw to the middle Position and hold there, now you have set up your steering angle sensor.
The Problem with the stuttered engine likes a faulty spark plug or cable, but it could also be a faulty air intake System.
You should check this, because without a Code i could say nothing better.
