no engine issues, however engine light continues to display on dashboard

Hello , thanks for your question in the autoaid Community.
Your described fault Code means: Dashboard Can-Bus faulty
The problem is "simple", because the engine control unit talks with the dashboard for engine light, engine speed and so on..
But when there is no communication on the bus, the engine sends a fault code.
I think, you can try a "hard-Reset". So plug off the Battery for 30 minutes and then plug on the Battery and look if the Problem is go away.
Sometimes the software likes a pc and hang off.
With the hard reset you could manual restart the Bus System.
If the problem stands again, then you have to search at the dashboard, it could be faulty, or the wirings have a contact fault.
